Welcome to The Mountain Lodge

Nestled at 1,450m in the Chamonix valley, this six-bedroom lodge blends traditional Alpine character with thoughtful modern comfort. Exposed timber beams, stone walls, and a roaring log fireplace create an atmosphere that’s warm and welcoming whatever the season.

The Space

The generous open-plan living area centres around a double-sided stone fireplace that separates the sitting room from the dining space. Underfloor heating throughout ensures cosy comfort even in the depths of winter.

The professional kitchen is designed for serious cooks — dual ovens, a La Canche range, marble work surfaces, and ample pantry storage. A separate boot room keeps ski equipment and muddy boots well away from the living space.

Sleeping

Six bedrooms across two floors sleep up to 12 guests:

• Rooms 1 & 2: King en-suite with mountain views
• Rooms 3 & 4: Twin rooms sharing a Jack-and-Jill bathroom
• Rooms 5 & 6: Bunk rooms ideal for children

Outdoors

The south-facing terrace features a 6-person cedar hot tub with views straight up to the Mont Blanc massif — breathtaking at any time of day. A separate enclosed garden area is safe for children and pets.

The lodge is pet friendly — up to two well-behaved dogs welcome at no extra charge.

Location

A 10-minute drive from Chamonix town centre and the Aiguille du Midi cable car. Year-round activities include skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and paragliding. Geneva airport is 1h 15m.
